This mobile EOD bomb vehicle is fully functional for transporting critical pieces of equipment including bomb robots. When in more remote areas of use, this vital law enforcement vehicle can be run entirely off a diesel generator mounted in an external mobile EOD bomb vehicle compartment. Six scene lights have been strategically placed to provide maximum visibility over the two sides and the surrounding rear of the bomb vehicle. Two grill lights have also been installed. At the rear is a roll-up door and a ramp that facilitates the loading and unloading of heavy equipment and bomb vehicle supplies.
Considering the hot climate this vehicle was being sent to, it was decided to outfit it with three roof-mounted A/C units with heat strips, ensuring a comfortable working environment for any bomb vehicle needs. Moving inside this EOD vehicle, to the front of the door, is a small work counter with a refrigerator under it and a day box. Above the counter is a custom aluminum cabinet for organized mobile EOD bomb vehicle storage. Across from this counter is a seated workstation with four monitors and a shelf above for maximum storage, ensuring a well-organized and comfortable workspace in the bomb vehicle.
Going down the driver’s side is a small custom compartment with a hanger for thick protective coats and a shelf above for helmets, ensuring the protection of the team’s mobile EOD bomb vehicle safety gear. Underneath is a second day box for additional mobile EOD bomb vehicle storage. Behind this, and mirrored on the passenger side, are roll-up locking doors with shelves inside, providing secure storage for mobile EOD bomb vehicle equipment. At the rear are storage shelves with a net cover to ensure the safety of stored items and making sure nothing falls while transporting items inside the bomb vehicle. Down the center are tie tracks to secure and transport two bomb-defusing robots, further enhancing the bomb vehicle’s security features.
