Pedro Pet Pals Mobile Pet Adoption Truck is a custom-built animal transport vehicle designed with the safety of the animals in mind. It is equipped to safely transport dogs and cats to events and other places. This vehicle runs for over 8 hours without external electrical shore power and without a generator! It is 100% battery and solar powered, with three large solar panels, 6KW inverter and a lithium battery system mounted on the driver’s side in exterior boxes mounted to the frame rail of the vehicle.

These batteries run everything from the two ACs and two fans mounted to the roof to keep the inside of the vehicle at a controlled temperature for the animals being transported to all the electrical outlets for laptop charging access and other equipment. This is no small feat, and we are happy to say we have the capabilities to upfit any vehicle with systems similar to this one, giving you the power to customize your mobile pet adoption truck or mobile animal clinic solution to your specific needs!  Patrons are able to view animals and work through the adoption process without generator noise or gasoline fumes.

On the exterior, this animal transport vehicle has a powder coated and rivet-less body, giving it a smooth and high-end look. On the driver’s side, two large windows have been installed, providing a view from the exterior into the cages on the interior for an eye-catching animal adoption feature for passersby. On the passenger side, an awning has been installed to create a shaded and inviting gathering place for this vehicle to be used at events or engage the public at any time. An exterior outlet compliments this space, allowing for any kind of equipment to be plugged in. You will also see a second large window on this side and on the rear; these two windows are sliding windows to promote even more fresh air flow and create the most welcoming environment inside the vehicle.

As we step inside, the electrical cabinet and attic storage are accessible behind lockable doors, providing a secure and convenient storage solution. Below the attic doors is a small window allowing visibility from the cab into the rear of the vehicle, so while in transport, there is a clear way to check on the animals, ensuring their safety and your peace of mind.

This pet adoption vehicle is separated into two rooms; the front animal transportation/display space and a rear meet and greet area. In the front room, down the driver’s side wall, are six large cages in three stacks of two, with a shelf above the cages for additional storage. On the passenger side, there is a custom bench seat with flip-up storage underneath it. A removable table rests in front of the benches for a convenient place to fill out adoption paperwork. To complement this, an outlet has been installed in the front of the bench seat for a convenient laptop charger or other electronic capability. A pony wall separates the bench seat from a stack of three medium cages, maximizing the animal quantity that can be transported. These features are designed for maximum convenience and practicality, making it an ideal solution for mobile pet adoption vehicles.

Separated by a hinged door with a custom plexiglass window is the meet-and-greet room. A space where families can play and interact with an animal and fall in love. A bench seat with flip-up storage has been installed on the passenger side with an outlet in the front of it, much like the front room bench seat. Outlets have also been installed on the two driver-side corners of the room. The rear room is as open as possible to give the most room for pet interactions.
