This 33-foot mobile medical vehicle, developed in partnership with the Virginia Department of Health, reflects our dedication to offering customized healthcare solutions. This state-of-the-art specialty vehicle is designed with the health care professionals and mobile healthcare community needs in mind.
One of its key features is a wheelchair lift, which provides easy access for elderly and disabled individuals. Mobile medical vehicle safety is paramount, and the lift includes a protective cover to prevent accidents when it’s not in use. A generator fully powers the clinically equipped RV, allowing three air conditioning units to keep the space cool and comfortable along with other sensitive electronics. Additionally, three vents with fans have been installed to circulate air, with the hope that they’ll reduce the need for A/C during pleasant weather.
On the passenger side, an awning shelters the mobile medical coach entry door and wheelchair lift, creating a shaded area that makes it inviting for work and gatherings during special events. A convenient outlet has been placed between the doors for any equipment that needs power during mobile medical vehicle occasions.
As you step inside, you’ll discover a thoughtfully organized layout that prioritizes functionality. To your right, the electrical cabinet hosts all control switches for easy and quick access. Directly ahead, the intake and mobile medical RV work area feature a custom-made desk and a spacious bench seat designed to comfortably accommodate multiple patients and enhance their waiting experience.
The dedicated lab area is spotlighted by a standing counter with plenty of power outlets and overhead storage, facilitating easy access for clinically equipped RV professionals. A double-door specimen passthrough links the lab to the bathroom, ensuring privacy for patients during mobile medical coach examinations. Next to the lab, a counter holds a Statim 5000 sterilization unit, ensuring that all mobile medical instruments remain safe for use. The specialty vehicle is also equipped with a locking, temperature-controlled medical fridge, and freezer to keep vital medical supplies in optimal condition during mobile medical vehicle operations.
Patient care efficiency is a primary focus, and the specialty vehicle is designed with this principle in mind. A designated phlebotomy chair supports blood draws, complete with an overhead cabinet adjacent to it and a strategically placed biohazard sharps disposal bin for enhanced mobile medical RV safety. For added convenience, a mobile storage cart is secured in the back room, providing easy access to essential supplies while on the go.
Before the rear room is the bathroom complete with soap and paper towel dispenser’s mounted above the sink where it doesn’t block the specimen pass through into the front of the mobile medical vehicle.
A sound management system is installed throughout the vehicle, ensuring clear communication without compromising patient comfort or the ability to play music to enhance patient privacy and user experience during mobile medical vehicle treatments.
At the rear, separated from the rest of the specialty vehicle by a pocket door, you’ll find a private examination room that balances confidentiality and functionality. This room features a sink, and an emergency eyewash station mounted on the wall, optimizing valuable counter space. A second biohazard disposal container is included to safely manage clinically equipped vehicle’s hazardous materials.
The exam room is equipped with an additional workstation. A ZOLL Defibrillator mounted on the wall stands ready to enhance safety, ensuring that medical personnel are prepared for emergencies. Throughout the mobile medical vehicle, practical safety features are integrated, including an Oxygen Pac positioned at a lower height to minimize the risk of accidental contact, fostering a secure environment for both patients and medical staff.
Moving to the interior, the front slide-outs are designed to accommodate nine desks and overheads, providing ample space for educational activities. Towards the rear of the vehicle, an eight-person conference table can be easily removed to create a versatile learning environment.
Additionally, two 55″ smart TVs are positioned on either side of the room, along with a convenient fold-down sofa bed.
The bathroom on the rear wall features a sink on the passenger side while the driver’s side has a kitchenette with a refrigerator, sink, and overhead microwave.
These features make this mobile classroom vehicle suitable for educational purposes in remote or unconventional settings for extended periods.
