Multiple specially designed mobile command vehicles were built for military applications to create a mobile shelter that can move equipment and create a dependable work area. We mounted the generator that runs this entire vehicle in the space between the cab and the mobile command vehicle shelter; leaving this space makes it much easier to access the generator for repairs and helps with weight since this is a large generator able to run large loads for long mobile command vehicle periods of time. Off the front of the shelter is the BARD A/C and heater unit that is ducted through the front wall and specific areas inside the mobile command vehicle per customer specifications. Along with this A/C unit, two mobile command vehicle masts are mounted on either side. Along the underside of the box are three exterior boxes, one box on the passenger side and the other two on the driver’s side. We also installed a ladder on the rear to facilitate access to the mobile command vehicle roof, which is designed to allow easy maintenance.

Moving on to the interior, the entrance to this mobile command vehicle is through the rear, with a custom 38-inch-wide door and removable steps to get from the ground up into the mobile command vehicle; these steps are stored and tied down in the same place where the generator is housed. Entering the mobile command vehicle, on the driver’s side are eight surface-mounted d-rings on the floor for larger equipment securement. On the driver-side wall is a white board, and underneath it is a length of e-track that works with the mobile command vehicle d-rings on the floor. To the front of the storage area are two four-post-racks that have shock isolation mountings from the mobile command vehicle chassis.

On the passenger side of this mobile command vehicle is a full-length counter that makes up the work surface. Under this counter is a small mobile command vehicle fridge. In the very front on this side is a custom-made mobile command vehicle overhead cabinet. Behind the work service near the rear is a four-foot by two-foot manufactured rack designed to mount monitors, with ample plug-in spaces behind it, providing convenient access to power for various mobile command vehicle equipment.
