Quality Vans & Specialty Vehicles partnered with the Los Alamos National Library to develop Mobile DUI Testing vehicles. We successfully manufactured six vehicles, each carefully designed to serve its purpose as efficiently as possible. These vehicles have advanced features to facilitate their functions, including two roof-mounted A/C units, three roof fans, and eight double-paned thermal windows. The vehicles also come with exterior access hatches for water fill, generator, and batteries in a lower storage box, ensuring ease of maintenance and operation.

The interior of each DUI testing vehicle is thoughtfully organized into three distinct areas. The front section comprises an intake and waiting area featuring a well-designed counter with drawers, overhead storage, and a personal belongings locker. Towards the rear, a custom bench seating with storage underneath provides comfort and practicality.

Additionally, a counter with a water dispenser, cooler, and water storage inside the cabinet is strategically placed for convenience. The opposite side features another custom bench with storage underneath and overhead storage cabinets, offering ample space for various supplies.

Moving into the lab area, accessible through a locking pocket door, we have ensured that it is fully functional and equipped with all necessary amenities. The lab area boasts counter space on both sides, complemented by storage cabinets above and below. A sink and a small storage area are provided on the passenger side. The driver’s side features an open counter space with drawer and cabinet space above and below and a refrigerator installed underneath to store essential items.

At the rear of the DUI testing vehicles, beyond the lab area, is a well-designed restroom accessible through a locking, sliding door. The bathroom, spanning the vehicle’s width, is equipped with both a toilet on the passenger side and a urinal on the driver’s side, ensuring the comfort, efficiency and convenience for users.
