Design Details:
This mobile command post vehicle stands apart from typical vehicles. It features a unique design that offers a dependable workspace, making it the perfect solution for extended operations in unconventional areas where traditional office spaces aren’t available. Fully outfitted with essential amenities—such as a rear conference room, two workstations, a refrigerator, space for Pelican case storage, and an IT rack—this vehicle is always ready for action at any location.
The functionality of our mobile command vehicle extends beyond the interior. Its exterior is equipped with an extensive array of features that ensure a reliable workspace, even in the most challenging environments. This is a vehicle built to perform regardless of the conditions.
On the driver’s side, our mobile command vehicle is loaded with features. The generator, safely housed in an exterior compartment, allows the vehicle to operate independently for long stretches in the field. Next to it, the battery and leveling jack compartment neatly stores all necessary batteries. The rear section includes additional storage that contains the controls for the 30-foot Wil-Burt camera Mast, which is fitted with a camera at the back of the vehicle.
At the rear, the mast is supported by a custom-fabricated rear step bumper, complete with two stationary steps and a third flip-down step for easy access to the exterior storage compartments. A roof access ladder is conveniently mounted on the right side, providing easy reach to the two air conditioning units and a U-shaped antenna rail.
On the passenger side, we’ve installed an awning that creates a shaded workspace suitable for larger gatherings in the field. A custom-fabricated exterior TV cabinet near the entry door houses radios for seamless communication, along with a fold-down workstation ideal for laptops or paperwork. This level of adaptability ensures the vehicle meets various working scenarios, providing reassurance and confidence.
Inside the vehicle, the front attic storage offers easy access, secured with a half net to keep equipment in place while driving. Along the passenger side, towards the rear of the door, a bank of cabinets houses the IT rack as well as ample storage space.
Adjacent to the driver’s side are shelves designed for Pelican case storage in the attic. Behind that are two workstations flanking a refrigerator, with radios mounted under the overhead cabinets.
A pocket door provides privacy for the conference room at the rear. Flip-down seats on the passenger side enhance access around the central table. On the driver’s side, there’s an in-house fabricated bench seat with flip-up storage and outlets conveniently placed for charging equipment. The back wall features a counter, and above the exterior-accessed storage, there are spots to mount two TVs and built-in radios.
The entire vehicle is designed with whiteboard walls above waist height, and all cabinet doors double as whiteboards for quick note-taking. Below waist height and on the ceiling, there’s carpet that helps dampen noise, creating a focused and comfortable workspace. All electrical outlets, HDMI ports, Cat-6 ports, and radios are installed inside wire molds, facilitating quick repairs, the addition of new equipment, or the replacement of outdated devices to keep this vehicle running smoothly for years to come.
