This container was bought for us by Honeywell to upfit and install all the racks and equipment needed for a fully functioning jet engine emissions testing system. Custom windows and equipment ports were made for each of the specialized machinery. Each equipment rack requires a lot of power and custom AC ducting, which is necessary to ensure efficient and effective climate control and power quality within the container. Quality Vans & Specialty Vehicles constructed multiple layers of differing wall and ceiling types for the best sound insulation. This is crucial for individuals working inside the container.
The shipping container was custom-made for this project. It features two interior rooms, each with a door for easy access. The larger rear rooms are equipped with two windows on each side. At one end of the trailer, a small lip on the roof and flooring provides a secure space for the generator and A/C, ensuring their safety during crane movement without any protrusions.
Upfitting a custom shipping container takes specialized knowledge, experience, and equipment, including the use of large cranes.
