This Mobile Opioid Treatment Vehicle is designed with a front workstation that doubles as a consultation area with a bench beside it, a bathroom, and a secure dispensing area with a plexiglass window in the rear. This vehicle is custom-built using cabinet-grade plywood and medical-grade laminate for all cabinets, counters, seating areas, walls, and pocket doors.
There is a passthrough from the cab to the back working area of the vehicle. Above that is an attic that provides storage, a medical fridge, and a printer. This design maximizes the floor space for seating, making these items readily accessible when needed.
The front room has a workstation with an overhead cabinet, custom bench seating for patient consultation, additional bench seating with storage underneath to provide a waiting area, and a diagnostic board on the wall, allowing this space to double as another testing area if needed. A large cabinet is positioned near the rear door for storage. The bathroom consists of a toilet with the handwashing sink and garbage located outside per customer specifications.
In addition to the dispensing window in the rear of this mobile medical vehicle, a counter provides a standing workstation with a dedicated space for a computer monitor. A DEA-certified safe is installed under the counter to control all medication when unattended. A second handwashing sink and storage cabinet are also installed in the back room.
Externally, there is a 16-foot electric awning, a custom-fabricated compartment for the generator, batteries in a lower storage box, and a shore cord.
Overall, the rear room design and custom-designed dispensing window make it an ideal vehicle for mobile opioid treatment services.
