Chassis:

q Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170” Wheelbase Extended High Roof

Partnering with Verizon, we designed and fabricated the most technologically advanced mobile unit the company has ever produced. This van addresses the needs of communities heavily affected by disasters, with the capability to drive into gray sky areas and provide charging stations along with much-needed Wi-Fi and cell service. It will serve as a beacon of safety in situations where it is needed most.

The van is equipped to maintain connectivity and power in areas that may lack electricity, thanks to a robust solar battery system. Additionally, there is a third van that includes an extra trial generator, ensuring that the unit can always provide essential connection, regardless of the situation.

q Each vehicle is outfitted with six lithium batteries for sustainable power

q Three solar panels are mounted on the roof to recharge the battery system

q Two portable solar panels are stored inside the vehicle, ready to be set up for additional power renewal

q The third van contains a generator mounted under the vehicle for extra backup power

These enhancements guarantee that the vehicle remains powered throughout its operations, allowing up to 50 people to access Wi-Fi and cell connections, while also enabling 50 individuals to charge their phones, laptops, and other necessary devices during a crisis.

The vehicles are highly visible, featuring a bright Verizon wrap with large and easily readable logos and community program information. They are loaded with exciting features.

Key Exterior Features:

q An awning over the curbside creates a shaded welcome area for those in need

q An external TV cabinet can play news and local channels, supported by a roof-mounted TV antenna

q Power outlets and HDMI ports are available on both sides of the van for easy connectivity

q A fold-down phone charging box is located curbside for convenient access to power while the van is being set up

q And much more!

This van is a small-scale unit making a significant impact. It provides connectivity through the equipment installed inside, which includes:

q A Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite mounted on the roof to offer satellite internet

q A high-capacity Wi-Fi hotspot that can support connections for up to 200 users simultaneously

q eFemto technology for improved localized mobile coverage with an antenna

These components make this van essential during emergency situations, enabling community members to contact loved ones or access other emergency services they may require during a disaster.

The interior of this van is as robust and functional as the exterior.

Key Features:

q A roof-mounted AC system and a fuel tank-driven Eberspächer system maintain a comfortable climate inside the van in all weather conditions

q A compact workstation is located on the streetside of the van, featuring two 27” curved monitors

q Ample storage compartments are provided for Verizon tools, equipment, and marketing materials

q An IT rack that can be pulled out and turned for easy in-house maintenance

q LED panels display van power levels

q Monitors show exterior security camera feeds

q A rear fold-down bench and removable table create a private workspace or small meeting area

q A custom-fabricated storage rack in the rear accommodates folding tables and chairs

This unit is exceptional; it not only looks and functions beautifully but is also actively deployed across the USA, providing assistance where it is needed most.
