We were asked to take an outdated and non functional walk in van and refurbish the interior to a more up to date usable mobile office. We removed all the interior components down to the wall studs, put new plywood, carpet, cabinetry and wiring. We applied a commercial grade fabric to the ceiling to help with noise absorption. A fixed work surface with overhead cabinets and 2 drawer Hon file cabinet on the curbside of the van. On the street side we custom built a fold down table to provide additional work area. The unit also included bench seating with commercial grade vinyl seat cushions and hinged seats to provide access to storage under the bench. In the rear of the unit we installed a floor to ceiling storage closet. All interior wiring was removed and replaced with new electrical panel for both 12v and 110v systems. Interior lighting was all new LED wall switched to provide adequate visibility in the mobile office. On the exterior of the unit we installed 4 new windows as well as a 12′ Carefree awning.
