Twin Falls SWAT Transport
Vehicle Description:
The City of Twin Falls had Quality Vans & Specialty Vehicles build their Swat Transport vehicle. The Ford F550 box truck was 16’L x 96”Wide. Equipped with a side sliding door, 1” spray foam insulation at walls and ceiling. Plywood with FRP laminate on all walls for a clean look durable finish. Commercial grade carpet was installed on the ceiling to reduce interior noise. In floor spray in liner was applied 3” up walls to make joints water tight. The SWAT Transport was equipped with a 7000 W Onan generator with remote, roof mounted air conditioner and base board heating to provide a complete standalone electrical and HVAC system. The A 19″ rack was mounted to allow installation of the departments equipment as required. The unit was also prewired for a 2nd roof air conditioner and setup for future awning installation. Whelen siren controller, loud speaker and emergency red/blue light package was provided and installed.
