Quality Vans & Specialty Vehicles built this mobile communications shelter to the customer’s specific requirements on a Ford F650 chassis. A custom platform and van body was built to meet the need of transporting this unit via air transport. The unit is upfitted with a 30 KW diesel generator and a 3 ton Bard air conditioner to provide plenty of power and heating/cooling. The interior is finished with dry erase board on the walls and has a set or rolling divider walls to block the computer rack area off from the work area. A custom fabricated monitor rack wall as designed to accommodate 12 operator LED monitors. The computer racks will accommodate standard 19″ components including a single tempest rack and two standard 19″ racks. Two 42 foot pneumatic masts installed on the front corners of the mobile communication shelter along with provisions for a 3rd mast on the right rear corner. This unit can be deployed anywhere in the world and is fully self-contained.
